The "LINE" in the letters of LINE4THON represents the bus line/subway line, which is the route we want to circle. We hope to advocate green and low-carbon travel for everyone. "4" represents the four concepts we advocate: Reduce to reduce waste, Reuse to reuse, Recycle uses recyclable, Redefine to redefine running (moving while paying attention to environmental protection), "THON" is taken from the second half of marathon (marathon), representing the unremitting sportsmanship. Advocating the healthy life of green sports is the concept of "pick up and run groups", and we hope to pass this concept to more people through the challenge of LINE4THON.
LINE4THON was inspired by Tokyo Yamathon and being brought by Anastasiia Isakii to China on 12th May 2018. Then it grew to the yearly initiative of Trash Running Association since 2019.
